1994-97 Artist in Residence-San Francisco Arts Education Foundation Artist/Teacher, worked with middle school
students to create collaborative works with an emphasis on social consciousness.
1995 Artist in Residence- Berkley Oakland Support Services for the homeless. Worked with homeless youth to
create outdoor public sculpture to travel through East Bay streets.
1995 Artist in Residence-Southern Exposure Summer Program. Work with Mission District Youth (San
Francisco) to create art that gives a "voice" to their issues and concerns.

2000 Gadgets, Bindlestiff Theater, Designed and constructed stage set for Jeannie Barroga's play Gadgets
1996 Neighborhood Flags, CCAC and the City of Oakland. Worked with 12 Oakland youths to design flags for
their individual neighborhoods. Currently, the flags are hanging over Oakland's Chinatown.
1995 Faces for Change, Euphrat Museum, Cupertino, CA and various outdoor sites in Oakland and Berkley.
Kiosk-like structure on wheels, in the shape of a house. Created in collaboration with homeless youth.
Contained images and poetic text about homeless experience. Traveled for one year on the streets of the
East Bay
Brick Project, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. A one day installation / construction at the museum
opening ceremonies of 1200 brick sized blocks of wood made by San Francisco children about their ideas
of home.
